ReNOx 2.0
Project long title
Simultaneous recovery of nutrients (NH4- & PO43-) from biogenic raw and waste water
Project discription
The treatment of landfill leachates is presumably required for more than 100 years after the end of waste disposal and therefore represents a siginificant cost factor. However, landfill leachates can be used as a resource in terms of "landfill mining" for e.g. nitrogen or phosphorous, if innovative mineralogically based technologies are applied. This approach is a partial aspect of the ReNOx 2.0 project which is led by the Chair VTiU.
